There is no mistaking it… We are ready for a vacation. N and I took stock of the places that we are interested in traveling and have identified a “Top 5” list of spots that we have on the bucket list. The best part is that as soon as one is crossed off the list, another takes its place! We’ll get into the exact nature of that list and where we would like to go in a future post, but today we announce our next big destination:
Tahiti and French Polynesia
In fact, we will be flying to Papeete, boarding the Royal Princess cruise ship and spending 13 days and 12 nights as we make our way through 4 different ports in Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, and Bora Bora, enjoy 5 relaxing days at sea as we head north, and 4 more days in the ports of the Hawaiian Islands (Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and Oahu). The majestic beauty and tranquility of Tahiti and the French Polynesian islands is exactly what is needed to calm the soul and stir the senses as we enjoy a truly R & R vacation of walks on the beach, snorkeling, enjoying local cuisine, and of course, photography of it all.
